A festival in a campervan is a different festival. Your own bed instead of a sleeping bag, a shower instead of a queue, cold water in the fridge through a forty-degree August, and the option to go to bed when you feel like it rather than when the last bus leaves. Most of the big sites in the Valencia region worked this out long ago and keep dedicated camper zones. We have gathered six festivals of 2027 within 200 km of Valencia, with dates, campervan conditions and honest caveats wherever the organisers have not announced everything yet. Dates, prices and rules firm up over the course of the season, so check the official sites before you buy a pass.

Medusa Sunbeach — Cullera, 40 km

The closest and the biggest: 185,000 people over four days in 2026. The thirteenth edition runs from 12 to 16 August 2027 on Cullera beach. Electronic music, nine stages, sets until sunrise. Campervans have a separate option, the Área Camper: in 2026 it cost 120 € per pitch and also required the festival pass plus a supplement for the rest area. One important detail: campervans are not allowed into the River Town Resort area itself, the camper ground is separate. Confirm what your package covers before you buy. Forty minutes from Valencia on the AP-7. Web: medusasunbeach.com

Rototom Sunsplash — Benicàssim, 90 km

Europe's biggest reggae festival and the most family-friendly on this list. In 2026 it ran from 16 to 22 August; the 2027 dates are usually announced in winter. This site has the best campervan facilities in the region: there is a Zona Camper and a Zona Camper Familia with serviced pitches. A week of music, workshops, a children's programme and the beach ten minutes away. Logistics: exits 45 or 46 off the AP-7, parking is free. Web: rototomsunsplash.com

FIB — Benicàssim, 90 km

A Spanish indie classic since 1995. The thirty-first edition runs from 15 to 17 July 2027 and passes are already on sale. The festival has camping areas with a supplement for campervans. If you miss out on a pitch inside, Benicàssim itself has private campervan areas near the beach. We recommend that option even to people who did get a spot inside: sleeping away from the stage after three days of festival is a luxury of its own. Web: fiberfib.com

Arenal Sound — Burriana, 65 km

29 July to 1 August 2027. The festival takes over the port and the whole beach of Burriana. There is no official camper zone, but the town hall usually opens park-and-ride lots where overnight stays are allowed. An alternative ten minutes away: the Camí de les Serratellers campsite in Nules, which in past years started at 4.5 € per caravan and ran a bus to the site. Practical note: the August sun in Castellón is merciless, put blackout covers on the skylights and windows from day one. Web: arenalsound.com, Instagram @arenal_sound

Rocanrola — Alicante, 170 km

The only large festival outside the summer peak, and for that reason the cheapest one to rent for. From 29 April to 1 May 2027 at the Multiespacio Rabasa. Rap, hip hop and urban culture, five stages and a Living Park zone with skating, graffiti and basketball. For 2027 the organisers have announced a campsite for 2,000 people under a large marquee, with showers, toilets, a food area and a separate space for people arriving by campervan. Caveat: in 2026 the campsite was cancelled and replaced with free shuttles to Alicante, so it is worth confirming that the camper zone is genuinely running before you buy. Low Festival — Torrevieja, 180 km

Indie and rock, 30 July to 1 August 2027. An important change: the festival has moved from Benidorm to Torrevieja. The 2027 site is not officially confirmed and the line-up has not been announced. The festival campsite is for tents and does not provide for campervans inside. You will have to sleep at the areas in Torrevieja and nearby, of which there are enough, but book ahead: the dates clash with Arenal Sound and the whole south of the province fills up on those days. Practical tips

  • 1Two festivals on one rental: Medusa (12-16 August) and Rototom (16-22 August) run back to back and sit 50 km apart, so a 10-12 day rental covers both and that length already earns a 10% discount. A similar pair at the end of July: Arenal Sound and Low Festival, though those are 200 km apart.
  • 2A camper pitch is not the festival pass: at most festivals the campervan space is sold separately and often still requires a supplement for the rest area. Budget for the whole thing and buy in the first wave, because camper zones are small and sell out first.
  • 3August in Castellón means +38: the air conditioning runs off mains power, so if your pitch has no electricity, plan on sleeping through the day in the shade and carrying a water reserve. The solar panel handles the fridge and the lights, but not air conditioning out in the open.
  • 4Arrive a day early: camper zones usually open 24 hours before the first concert and pitches are handed out in order of arrival. Come in the morning and you pick the shade; come in the evening and you end up on the edge.
  • 5Do not get behind the wheel the moment the festival closes: every site lets you stay until midday the following day. Sleep first.
  • 6Check the dates: the festival calendar moves. In 2026 Rocanrola was postponed because of the DANA storm and Low Festival changed city. The current information is always on the official sites.
